Welcome to the Undergraduate Fellowship Office! 

The UFO assists all undergraduates interested in pursuing a national scholarship or fellowship.  We encourage you to browse through our website for more information on specific awards, a guide of how to begin the fellowship application process, profiles of former scholarship candidates, and information on upcoming outreach sessions. 

Information Sessions
A listing of upcoming information sessions can be found to the left.  These sessions are scholarship-specific, usually providing info on one or two major awards and lasting approximately one hour.  They will provide an overview of the scholarship including basic award information, eligibility and selection criteria, and details on the application process.  Most info sessions are offered twice, for your scheduling convenience. 

If you are interested in an award and are unable to attend any of the corresponding information sessions, please come see us during our Drop-In Advising.

Application Workshops
Held in computer labs, application workshops allow students to receive guided assistance in drafting essays for specific fellowships. RSVPs are required, as space is limited.

Fulbright ETA Statement of Purpose Workshop

Fellowships Listserv
Every other Tuesday, the UFO will email information about upcoming info sessions and workshops, fellowship deadlines, and other national opportunities that may be of interested to listserv subscribers. All OSU undergraduates, as well as faculty and staff, are welcome to join the mailing list. You can add (or remove) yourself here.

Drop-in Advising
The UFO will hold Drop-In Advising Hours during Spring Quarter 2012 (through 6/1) at the following times:

- Tuesdays,  4pm-6pm
- Fridays, 9am-11am 

*No advising hours will be held on 4/3 or 4/10.

Advising is limited to a 20-min appointment and is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Students should check in with the receptionist on the first floor of the Kuhn Honors & Scholars House.

2010 alumna Adrienne Strong was awarded a Fulbright to conduct research in Tanzania. She was also a Truman Finalist and a 2011 NSF Fellow.
